Purchase & General Questions
Once I have placed an order when should I expect delivery? And can I track it?
Estimate delivery times are 7-10 business days. At this time once you place an order a shipping tracking number will be emailed to you.
Are these watches only sold in the U.S.?
At this time they are only available in the U.S. Please check here for any future developments.
What forms of payment are accepted?
VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Paypal.
Can the watches be purchased through any other websites?
Not at this time.
Will the watch work without the Family Assistant monthly subscription?
No. The monthly Family Assistant Service subcription is required for operation. Included in the service is the cellular service, cloud messaging service and networking required to manage the watch. The service is on a month to month basis and be cancelled by you at anytime without penalty.

What’s inside the package/box?
Inside the package is an anda 4G LTE smartwatch phone (comes with a preinstalled sim card), charging cord, wall plug, a special screwdriver and a packet of documents. In the document packet is a user guide, a COPPA/Service Billing Consent Form and a Warnings/Risks document. VERY IMPORTANT — (1) the watch phone # and EMEI number are written on the user guide. PLEASE KEEP IN A SAFE PLACE. (2) COPPA/BILLING Form MUST BE COMPLETED AND RETURNED IMMEDIATELY to prevent interruption or loss of service. (3) Read the Warnings/Risks for proper usage.
Are these new or refurbished?
Unless specified to you directly in an email all products on the store are new. If you believe that you have recieved a watch which is not new or is damaged, please contact customer support.
Can I return the device?

General & Setup Questions
1. Where can I find detailled product specs like: dimensions, network, battery etc.?

2. How to setup and watch?
Anda set up is fairly simple . Knowledge of installing phone apps from iTunes or Google Play Store helps. The general steps are charge the battery, download/install phone App, register for an account, link the watch to the app (by scanning a QR code or entering manually into the phone app) and adding contacts or phone numbers. 3. How do you charge the watch?
The watch comes with an AC/DC charger and a charging cord. The charging cord is magnetically attachable to each watch. It is recommended to place the watch face down to minimize any connection issues. The charger can be plugged in by USB or attached to the enclosed wall converter. Please Click here to access the Quick User Guide for configuration. The cable is unique. More charging cables can be purchased separately.
4. Is the watch water proof? Splash proof?
Anda is one of the highest rated water resistant smartwatches with a IP67 rating which is highly water-resistant and dust-resistant. IP67 means the unit can be dropped into a body of fresh water up to a meter deep for half an hour. However, it is still not reccomended for swimming.
5. Does the child also need a phone for this to work?
No, the smartwatch has a phone built in. The phone app is required for tracking, settings, and management which should only be done by the parent/caregiver.
6. Is there a safety latch to deter removal?
Not a separate safety latch but the band is designed so it can’t easily be removed. There is a removal sensor alert that alerts you whenever the watch has been removed from your child’s wrist.
7. Can 2 parents monitor one child?
Yes this done through the App with the main parent/caregiver adding other parent as a relationship contact.
8. If I have more than one child with a watch can I send messages to both at same time?
Unfortunately not at this time.
9. Will this watch work while being international?
No the watch is only for the 50 contiguous U.S. states. However calls can be made from the phone to international numbers (remembering that any calling and minute charges apply.
10. What are the appropriate ages for this item?
From children to preteen.
11. For this to work can I place it in my child’s backpack or do they have to wear it?
The watch will continue to track wherever the backpack is. However, it isn’t recommended because it lowers the security level of your child. The child would have to be wearing the backpack at all times to keep your child safe granted the watch was not removed from the backpack. At which point the watch would not be able to alert you as to a situation that may be occurring.
12. Do you recommend this for seniors as well?
Actually it could work if it was to fit their wrists.
13. Can you change the language on the watch?
No. Note the App will be available in different languages in the future.
14. Does watch display Health Functions?
Yes it monitors your child’s steps and any impact to watch that may indicate a fall.
15. Are the Vigilint watches compatible with Android and iOS systems?
Yes, both iOS 7.0 and Android 6.01 or later.
1. How often does the GPS update?
Every 1 to 30 minutes.
2. How is the watch tracked? Just by GPS?
The watch is tracked by more than just the GPS. GPS means “GEO positioning satellite”. The watch has a chip that communicates with those satellites to give out latitude and longitude which Vigilint converts to an address. The watch also uses Cell Towers and WiFi hotspots as locators.
3. How reliable is the tracking of the GPS?
This is a complicated question. Factors that affect reliability are the reception of the GPS(Line of Site)/Cell/WiFi signals, weather, where you are, time of year and proximity to cell towers/WiFi. In general reliability is very good with the previous exceptions. GPS location is the most accurate. If GPS is not present, accuracy can vary from Cell and WiFi.
4. What is the effective locator range of the watch, and approximately how accurate is it? Within a few feet or yards?
The watch location can be located anywhere in the U.S. no matter the distance between parent/caregiver and child. Accuracy ranges from 3 meters to 600+ meters depending upon GPS reception, cell reception, cell tower location and WiFi coverage.
5. Does the watch alert the parent of the child's location quietly? In other words will the watch alert the parent without the child's knowledge or notify the parent in a manner that does not alert the child?
Yes, when a location alert is sent to the parent/caregiver’s phone there is no notification to the child.
6. Will this GPS track the last place the child was?
The GPS tracker will keep a history log of everywhere the watch/child has been.
7. Without a SIM card, is it still track able by parent’s app? What features are and are not available without a SIM card?
No. Included with the Vigilint smartwatch phone is a preinstalled SIM card that is required for all functions to work.
Phone & Calling
1. What are the details and coverage of the cell plan?
All questions regarding the cell plan that is bundled with the watch are located under the "Cellular and Network Questions" below.
14. Can you change the watch’s phone number?
Yes, but the number change only be changed through customer support. Please click to Contact an Expert for more information.
1. Can kids call their parents phone?
Yes. The person who linked the watch first is the primary parent/caregiver. They can add a second parent as a contact.
2. What does parental controlled mean?
The watch will only accept calls from those numnbers and contacts which have been entered by the primary parent/cargiver. Any call not from these will not ring on watch, protecting the child from robocalls or predators.
3. Can your child call other people besides their Moms number?
Every watch has the ability to be loaded with an unlimited number of contacts and a maximum of 10 direct phone numbers. These numbers are chosen by the parent/caregiver and entered into the App. The watch is restricted to only these numbers. They can be revised through the App at anytime.
4. What is the difference between a direct phone number and a contact?
A direct phone number is just used for calling. A contact is a person with an account. The primary parent/caregiver can allow contacts to exhange messages with the child, receive alerts and/or monitor child's location. For more info, please click to refer to the manual.
5. How do I find the watch phone number and Setup Numbers if I cannot find the 'Setup Numbers Card'?
At the time of shipment Vigilint logs and maintains a complete list of numbers for each watch. Please email us and a representative will get back to you. Be assured that security procedures have been put into place to protect your privacy. If any questions you can refer to Vigilint’s privacy polices.
Messaging & Alerts
1. Will I get alerts on my phone?
The watch will send text messages to the parent/caregiver for different situations. As an example, when a child pushes the SOS button, the watch will send a text alert including the watch's location to the parent/caregiver's phone. You cannot send text messages to the watch at this time. If you are interested in this feature, please contact customer support.
2. Can I get alerts on my iPad, tablet or PC?
You get alerts through the App with the limitation described in the previous questions.
3. Can more than one phone have alerts from one device?
Alerts are sent to the parent/caregiver and Family/Friend Accounts they authorize. For security reasons, a particular account can only be logged in to one device at a time.
4. What are SOS numbers?
The SOS button allows the child place an emergency alert to the parent/caregiver and others they allow. The SOS alert includes 10 sec of automatically recorded audio, text messages to phone, email and the last known location of the device. A parent needs to chose those in the list with this in mind because they receive these emergency alerts automatically. Through the App parents have the ability to change these choices at anytime.
5. What happens if the child accidentally pressed the SOS button?
The SOS button will work as if it was meant to be pushed. The only way to know if it is truly aa\ SOS call is for you to call your child or if the child calls you.
6. Does it have tamper indication?
Each watch has a Watch 'Removal Alert Sensor' behind the watch face and an 'Impact Sensor'. The removal sensor determines if the watch was removed and if it has then sends an alert to the parent/caregiver through the App. The impact sensor send an alert if the watch has been dropped, hit or jarred.
7. Is there a range limitation between App and watch?
Only limitation is that both the parent/caregiver phone and the child’s smartwatch phone MUST be receiving cell service.
Family Assistant Services & App
1. Does the watch need a Family Assistant subscription?
Yes, however, cellular services are included in the monthly Family Assistant service plan (the first month is included with your purchase). You will need to fill out the form (included with the watch) telling us how to bill for the service (there is a discount for purchasing multiple months).
2. What App do you use with this and how to download?
Use the Vigilints™ "Family Assistant -under license of Anda" App located in the iTunes and Google stores. You can use the QR code on this page or search on the name to locate and follow instructions to install.
3. Can 2 watches be used with 1 parent App?
Yes, multiple watches (unlimited) can be tracked and used by one App.
4. If I purchase one watch now and then another later will they still be connected through the same App?
Yes. A new Vigilint watch can be added at any time.
5. Does the App work from a MAC, iPad or PC?
The Mobile App works on iOS or Android phones.
Cellular & Network Questions
1. Does the watch need a cell service subscription? Extra charges?
Yes, however, cellular services are included in the monthly Family Assistant service plan (the first month is included with your purchase). 2. Do I need to purchase a SIM card for the watch and what type is required?
No. Included with the anda smartwatch phone is a preinstalled SIM card that is required for all functions to work.
3. How do I know if I have cellular coverage in my area?
The 4G/3G/2G service is based upon the T-Mobile Network. For more detailed understanding, contact us via the link on this page and we will provide you with our best estimate of the service in your area.
4. Does the watch work outside of the United States?
Currently the service works in the United States and portions of Puerto Rico only.
5. Does the phone service support roaming Internationally?
Not at this time. Please monitor this website for future announcements.
6. If we subscribe are we tied into a long-term contract?
There are no long term contract commitments. You can pre-purchase months in advance for a discount.
7. Can we cancel without penalty?
Yes, you can cancel at anytime without penalty. However we do not refund purchased or pre-purchased months.
8. Can I use my own SIM card and cellular carrier?
The preloaded SIM card is the only SIM card supported by the watch.
9. Do you have to add a phone number to my current service?
No you do not need to add a line, the Family Assistant Services monthly service plan which provides the phone number and service.
10. Can a device be deactivated without canceling my account?
Yes, for security purposes. The watch can only be deactivated by our technical support. Please email us asap if you have any suspicion that your watch has been misplaced, lost or stolen. At which time your watch will be deactivated for use but you still will be responsible for the monthly service fees until the watch is located and reactivated or you determine the watch cannot be located and decide to cancel your service.
Security and Privacy
1. Does the anda 4G LTE Smartwatch offer security features?
Security is a key focus for Vigilints™ products. Watch data is encrypted between the watch and our server. Data exchange between our mobile app and the server is HTTPS encrypted and access use industrial grade security.
2. How do I know the anda 4G LTE Smartwatch will protect my child's privacy?
The Vigilints™ Family Assistant and anda 4G LTE Smartwatch is compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) as provided by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). We also comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), which was signed into law in June 2018. We are also in process of becoming GDPR (EU General Data Protection Regulation) compliant.
3. Is my data sold or provided to 3rd parties?
Vigilint Biosensors does not sell your data to any 3rd party. There are 3rd party vendors and partner which have access to some data on a limited basis. At all time we attempt to hide personal data from all 3rd parties.
